Senior Footwear Designer

Title: Product Designer - Specialized 4 (Footwear Design) Location: Beaverton, OR Duration: 8-Month Contract What You Will Work On You will join a Field Sports Footwear Design team with a primary focus on cleated footwear across cricket, football, and baseball. This role supports the full product creation lifecycle, from early concept through retail, addressing both account and consumer needs. Key Responsibilities: Generate innovative ideas for performance-driven footwear products. Collaborate with cross-functional product creation teams to develop new concepts across multiple business units. Drive new thinking that supports growth and competitive differentiation. Research & Engineering Define testing protocols and validate concepts based on consumer, business, and performance requirements. Develop product concepts using new technologies, materials, and construction methods. Create and evaluate prototypes while identifying key material and construction opportunities. Lead innovation projects from concept through commercialization. Partner with product creation, manufacturing, and external vendors to bring ideas to life. Solve complex design challenges with creative and achievable solutions. Communication Prepare reports and present concepts, findings, and recommendations to stakeholders. Share technical knowledge and best practices to support product development and implementation. What You Bring Portfolio required for consideration. Degree preferred but not required. 7+ years of footwear design experience preferred. Ability to independently manage technical, performance-focused projects. Strong conceptual and creative problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator and Photoshop). Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities. Comfortable working in ambiguous, fast-paced environments. Preferred Qualifications Experience with 3D rendering and visualization tools.
