Research Account Manager (Flow Cytometry) - Greater New York

Waters seeks a Research Account Manager for flow cytometry in Western New York and surrounding regions. The role involves owning territory strategy, driving new business development, and expanding existing accounts while positioning integrated solutions to scientific and business customers.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute data-driven territory strategy aligned with market opportunities
- Create, qualify, and advance new business opportunities while managing competitive displacement
- Build multi-level customer relationships and develop account expansion plans
- Deliver consultative, solution-based engagement positioning instruments, consumables, services, and software
- Lead complex sales cycles from opportunity qualification through close and negotiate commercial terms
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in science, business, or related field
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets
- Experience managing customer relationships and territory growth
- Ability to manage multiple complex sales opportunities simultaneously
- Willingness to travel extensively within assigned territory
- Life sciences, biotechnology, diagnostics, or healthcare industry experience preferred
- 3-5+ years of sales or commercial experience preferred
