You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points, and report security-related concerns. This role offers the opportunity to provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while working with a reliable, innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues according to site-specific procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, vehicle entrances, employee access points, warehouse spaces, and the surrounding perimeter.
• Monitor activity at assigned posts, observe the movement of personnel and deliveries, and report unusual conditions or policy violations to site leadership.
• Assist with visitor and contractor access procedures, maintain required activity logs, and provide clear communication to employees, drivers, and guests.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• A TSA-issued Transportation Worker Identification Credential is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
