Shift C- Weekend Dayshift- 4/3 schedule- Thursday-Sunday- 6:00am-6:15pm

Role Impact:

As part of an aseptic, extended shelf-life beverage manufacturing facility the Shipping and Receiving Clerk will be critical in coordinating the movement of materials in and out of the facility.

In this role, the Shipping and Receiving Clerk will perform all tasks and functions related to physically inspecting incoming shipments, verifying quantities, and documenting any discrepancy or damage, along with verifying shipping information, preparing shipping documents, arranging for transportation, and tracking the shipment to its destination.

Role Responsibilities

• Responsible for creating and maintaining accurate records of all incoming and outgoing shipments. This includes tracking numbers, invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading.
• Inspects incoming goods for damages, defects, or other issues and reports any discrepancies to the appropriate parties.
• Maintains accurate inventory records, including stock levels, locations, and expiration dates.
• Organizes incoming goods documents, ensuring that they are easily accessible and properly filed.
• Responsible for arranging for the shipment of outgoing goods, including selecting the appropriate carrier, preparing proper shipping documents, and ensuring timely delivery.
• Communicates with vendors and customers to resolve issues, answer questions, and provide updates on shipment status.
• Assists carriers with the arrangement of inbound and outbound delivery appointments utilizing dock management software.
• Maintaining outbound shipment documents and forwarding necessary paperwork to customers or freight carriers.
• Responsible for keeping the shipping and receiving area clean and organized to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Follows safety procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), to ensure a safe working environment.
• Works alongside and communicates well with other Team Members to ensure efficiency of operations.

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic mathematical and calculation skills.

Experience & Skills

• Experience in a manufacturing facility or logistics preferred.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong computer skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask.

Physical Requirements

• Must be willing to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays, and overtime.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to stand, walk, kneel, and bend for entire shift.
• Must be able to work with equipment that contains electric magnetic components.
