About the Position
TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PACU/Pre-Post Op RN in Fort Worth, Texas, 76104!
Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Profession: Nursing Specialty: Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 10:00 - 22:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: RN License Certifications: ACLS preferred Description: Call needs are required, including one weekend and one night per week. The unit features 26 beds, with the number of staff varying. Day shift typically has a charge nurse and usually a float nurse. Night shift is closed on call with two PACU nurses present. Patient ratios are 1:2. The unit employs EMR using Meditech. Candidates must have experience in ICU or PACU. Preferred candidates will have experience with various procedures such as general, neuro, oncology, orthopedics, vascular, and all types of surgical procedures. Ideal candidates will possess an easy-going and pleasant personality. No specific certifications are required, but ACLS is recommended. The unit adheres to ASPAN guidelines. On-call requirements apply only during weekends. The unit is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and the staff are highly experienced. About Cynet Health
