Senior Android Developer

To work on mobile Android Solutions as part of the company’s expanding product portfolio; Design, develop, test and implement computer software systems and applications, focusing on mobile applications and specializing in Android product portfolio; Apply knowledge and skills in software engineering, including a blend of design and hands on technical skills and work with product management to transform the company’s strategy into designs; Build robust and scalable software solutions, troubleshoot issues, and produce innovative designs that do the job more effectively and with better value; Gather complex technical user requirements and analyze same; Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues and bugs, to optimize productivity; Provide Android development working with VoIP applications, SIO/IMAP and other stacks, and Android Design elements and databases; Collaborate with development teams around the globe on mobile applications being implemented as part of the client handset strategy of Apptrics products; Consult on the use and deployment of software products and applications, and understand the business environments; Interface with vendors and customers regarding applications; Work in a fast-paced environment, requiring multitasking and efficient time management; Perform related professional responsibilities as are needed and required. Skills: Require: Master’s (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related field of study; Two years of software development experience with Android, design elements (layouts, fragments, notifications, sqlite, intents, or receivers), Blackberry, REST protocol, various codecs, GCM integration and Java (Core Java, C, and RedHat Linux).
