DuBose National Energy is seeking an Accounting Clerk for their Clinton, North Carolina location.

Function in the Job

Sedentary Work- Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.

Job Function

Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

• Daily preparation of Customer Invoices, Job Costing and Inventory updates
• Verify Accuracy of transactions and data input
• Preparing Weekly & Monthly Reports
• Maintaining job costing records
• Researching and Resolving discrepancies
• Performing task by corporate policy and accounting principals
• Provide Assistance to the Accounting Team with weekly, monthly, quarterly and year end close
• Assist with Annual Physical Inventory
• Departmental assistance with routine and special projects as needed to meet corporate deadlines

Required Skills

Qualifications:

• Associates Degree in Business Administration/Accounting or equivalent of 3 years accounting experience
• Competency in Microsoft Word & Excel
• Ability to work independently and as a TEAM
• Excellent Oral & written Communication Skills
• Time Management Skills
• Ability to stay on task to meet deadlines
• Adaptable to changing work duties
• Courteous and Professional
• Keep Confidential records confidential
