Apply today for your chance to get paid, earn resume-enhancing experience, and create unforgettable memories!Roles & Responsibilities:Responsible for the cleaning and general maintenance of park restrooms, office spaces, and other assigned indoor and outdoor areas of the park.Provide exceptional guest service by assisting guests with their questions or issuesClean and disinfect public and office areas on a scheduled rotating basis.Respond to emergency clean-up situations, as neededPerform maintenance and upkeep for all restroom facilities.Clean and sanitize all toilets, sinks, and countersRemove trash from all receptaclesClean and polish surfaces, windows and furniture to ensure these surfaces remain free or dirt or residue.Vacuum, mop, and/or sweep the floors, as neededMonitor and immediately escalate any damages or safety hazards to maintenance or leadershipMaintain a safe, clean, and organized work environmentMaintain records of all work completed and safety inspections.Inspect equipment to ensure conformance with operational standards.Monitor and stock cleaning supplies, tools, and chemicals.All other duties assigned by leadershipEducation and Experience:No educational requirements neededNo previous experience is required for this roleLanguage: Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English Spanish or other bilingual language skills are a plus.Requirements:Must be at least 18 years of age to comply with Pennsylvania Child Labor LawsAbility to work flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidaysAbility to work at the park during non-operating hours, including late evenings or the hours prior to the park opening each day.Must have reliable transportation to and from work for your scheduled shiftAbility to comply with all uniform policiesMust possess a strong attention to detail, to quickly notice objects and areas around the property that require attention.Ability to make safety a priority and use the proper PPE when utilizing certain types of equipment or working in certain areasMust be able to safely and expertly operate a variety of cleaning tools and laddersMust display a positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and professional image in compliance with all park guidelinesMust possess exceptional customer service skills, with an ability to resolve questions, problems, issues, and concerns in a positive and professional mannerAbility to follow direction, multi-task, and work as part of a team as well as independentlyPhysical Requirements:Ability to stand, walk, stoop, twist, kneel, bend, or squat for long periods of timeAbility to remain on feet for majority of the workdayAbility to work in non-conventional areas of the property, including working outside, on scaffolds, or on laddersAbility to carry, push, pull, lift, and hold objects weighing 30 pounds or moreAbility to consistently use hands to grasp, control, move objects/toolsAbility to see details of objects that are more than a few feet awayWorking Conditions:Frequent exposure to all outdoor and indoor areas of the parkFrequent exposure to the variable outside temperatures, including high heat, cold, direct sun, humidity, dust, rain, snow, ice, and other weather conditionsSubject to constant repetitive motionSubject to frequent use of ladders, step ladders, or scaffoldsFrequent exposure to dust, dirt, and chemical cleaning agentsSubject to bloodborne pathogens Proper PPE is required in these situations.Subject to frequent interruptions and requests that may require reprioritization of activitiesTeam member benefits:Working at Kennywood is about making people happy!
