Biotech IP Associate or Agent (Junior - Mid-Level) - Boston

Greenberg Traurig is seeking an IP associate or Patent agent to join its dynamic Boston Intellectual Property group, which has experienced unprecedented growth over the past year. We are looking for a candidate with a strong technical background in the biological sciences, and a commitment to providing exceptional client service. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of relevant experience drafting and prosecuting patent applications, evaluating patent portfolios, and performing due diligence investigations.Qualifications & Prior ExperienceCandidates should be registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark OfficeA Ph.D. in Biology, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, Immunology, Chemistry, or a related discipline is required.Experience in a law firm is desirable.Candidates must have excellent academic credentials, as well as outstanding organizational and communication skills (written and oral)Candidates should possess leadership skills, be comfortable working directly with clients and work well with others.Candidates must be admitted to the patent bar, and associate candidates must be admitted to the Massachusetts Bar or eligible for admission to the Massachusetts Bar.
