Phlebotomist Float

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist Float to join our team at Lowell MA.

Work Schedule: Your planned work schedule will be an 8 hour shift Monday Friday between 7:00 a.m. 7:00 p.m. with rotating Saturdays. This is a full time position working 40 hours per week.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 1 or more years of phlebotomy experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Current or previous LabCorp experience
• 2 or more years phlebotomy experience

Additional Job Standards:

• In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
• Valid Driver's License and clean driving record with reliable transportation
• Be at least 21 years' old

**Pay Range: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour

All job offers will be based on a candidate's skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data

Phlebotomists may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics

Float Incentive: Additional $1.00/hr plus mileage reimbursement
