Physical Therapist (General) in Helena, MT. Travel assignment starting August 3, 2026 for 13 weeks, with 36 hours guaranteed per week. Days shift in a long-term care (nursing home) setting. Responsibilities
- Perform patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for adult and geriatric residents.
- Provide PT interventions including therapeutic exercise, gait training, ROM work, balance training, and activity of daily living training.
- Document patient progress, reassess goals, and adjust plans of care as needed; ensure timely and accurate charting.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to optimize mobility, safety, and discharge planning; communicate patient status clearly in care conferences.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory standards, facility policies, and professional guidelines; uphold patient safety and infection control practices.

Requirements
- Active Montana physical therapy license or eligibility for licensure in Montana.
- Experience in geriatric or long-term care settings preferred.
- Proficiency in PT evaluation, treatment planning, and progress documentation.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work within an interdisciplinary team.
- Availability for a 13-week travel assignment and the Days shift; capable of meeting guaranteed hours.
