Title: Dental Hygienist

Location: Columbia, South Carolina

Schedule: Monday – Friday

Monday – Thursday: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Friday: 7:30 AM – 12:30 PM
No weekends
39 hours per week

Position Overview:

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a Dental Hygienist to provide preventive dental care, patient education, radiographic services, and support dental treatment planning in a clinical setting. This role involves working closely with patients, dental providers, and students while maintaining high standards of patient care and documentation.

Primary Responsibilities:

Perform routine dental prophylaxis and teeth cleaning
Remove hard and soft deposits and stains from teeth
Apply topical fluoride treatments
Expose and develop dental radiographs
Provide oral hygiene instruction and patient counseling
Offer nutrition and dietary education
Review patient medical and dental histories
Take and record blood pressure
Chart dental conditions and disease findings
Schedule and confirm patient appointments
Utilize Epic Wisdom for charting and charge entry
Assist in training dental hygiene students as needed

Required Qualifications:

Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene
Active South Carolina Registered Dental Hygienist License
Strong communication and patient education skills
Knowledge of dental radiography and preventive care practices
