Job Description

Position: Warehouse Department Lead
Location: Sturtevant, WI
Pay: $22-$23/hr

Our reputable client in Sturtevant, WI is looking for a Warehouse Department Lead!

Must be bilingual in Spanish

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Communicate production updates throughout the day
Coordinate with Warehouse for material movements
Coordinate with Customer Service regarding schedule changes
Monitor labor efficiency throughout the shift
Complete production documentation accurately
Verify production counts
Assist with inventory accuracy
Assist with audits as required.
Identify production issues before they become larger problems
Resolve day-to-day operational concerns
Escalate major issues to the Supervisor
Recommend process improvements
Support continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required
Minimum 2 years of warehouse or manufacturing experience
Minimum 1 year of leadership experience (Lead or Supervisor preferred)
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, email, warehouse management systems)
Ability to prioritize multiple customer requests.

Preferred

Previous repack or contract packaging experience
Experience leading teams of 20+ employees
Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement experience
Forklift certification (or ability to obtain)
Physical Requirements Stand and walk for extended periods
Frequently lift up to 25 lbs. Bend, twist, push, pull, and reach throughout the shift
Work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures. Ability to work overtime and weekends as business needs require.
