Join us!About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking a. Technology Director to join the Enterprise Functions Technology (EFT) Group. The Enterprise Functions Technology (EFT) group provides technology solutions and support for Risk, Audit, Finance, Marketing, Human Resources, Corporate Properties, and Stakeholder Relations business lines. In addition, EFT provides unique technology solutions and innovation for Wells Fargo Technology, Enterprise Shared Services, and Enterprise Data Management. This combined portfolio of applications and tools are purpose built to meet the challenges of stability, security, scalability, and speed.This role is responsible for managing Compliance Risk Technology, including portions of Employee Compliance, and operating support across the firm. The leader brings expertise in the risk management domain and regulatory expectations while designing and implementing technology solutions that automate and simplify compliance workflows. The role focuses on modernizing the operating environment to reduce cost, increase automation, and strengthen ongoing regulatory compliance. The position regularly engages with executive leadership, proposing credible, domain‑informed technical strategies, and oversees delivery through a large-scale engineering organization.In this role, you will:Manage a team of engineering leadsFocus on delivering commitments aligned to enterprise strategic prioritiesBuild support for strategies with business and technology leadersGuide development of actionable roadmaps and plansIdentify opportunities and strategies for continuous improvement of software engineering practicesProvide oversight to software craftsmanship, security, availability, resilience, and scalability of solutions developed by the teams or third party providersIdentify financial management and strategic resourcingDevelop strategies for hiring engineering talentLead implementation of projects and encourage engineering innovationCollaborate and influence all levels of professionals including more experienced managersLead team to achieve objectivesDevelop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategyRequired Qualifications:7+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education3+ years of management or leadership experienceDesired Qualifications:Experience with Enterprise Cloud Platforms (Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud)Experience in driving AI adoption across technology teams and business partnersJob Expectations:This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.This position offers a hybrid work schedule.Relocation assistance is not available for this positionAbility to travel up to 20% of the timeIselin, NJ Pay Range: $159,000 - $206,000 - $254,000Pay RangeReflected is the base pay range offered for this position.
