Peoplelink Staffing , in partnership with a food manufacturer in the San Dimas, CA area, is seeking a Sanitation Technician to join their team! This is a temp to hire opportunity with many opportunities to grow!

Sanitation Technician Job Summary:
- Pay: $21 an hour
- Shifts Available:
- 2nd Shift: 1:00 PM- 9:30 PM
- Training will be conducted in first or second shift
- Cleaning and sanitation of the production, warehouse facility, and facility ground maintenance.
- Assisting with tear down of production equipment, scrubbing, scraping, washing, and sanitizing to sanitary conditions.
- Using cleaning solutions and hand tools while following chemical, safety and food safety guidelines.
- Verifying the concentration of chemicals before being used by the operations staff.
- High School Diploma or GED is required
- Previous Sanitation experience is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to climb and/or work at heights while utilizing stairs, ladders, personnel lifts, or platforms.
- Ability to wear protective clothing and equipment such as safety shoes, face mask, safety glasses, hearing protection, a bump cap, a hair/beard net, and gloves when required.
- Willing to work in industrial high-speed moving machinery.
- Ability to work with allergens that might be present in a food environment.
- Exposure to various working conditions (heat, cold, dampness, chemicals
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Must be able to work in a team environment
