About the Role
The Company is in search of a VP, Trust & Safety to lead its dedicated team and ensure the platform remains a safe and respectful environment for its global community. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the trust and safety strategy, setting clear goals, and metrics that align with the company's objectives. This role requires a leader with a strong background in product and operational experience, particularly in the context of online safety. The VP, Trust & Safety will be accountable for managing and mentoring the Trust & Safety Agents, as well as establishing a safety-by-design mindset across the organization. Collaboration with product, engineering, and operations teams is essential to continuously improve internal tools and operational workflows. Candidates for the VP, Trust & Safety position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience, with a minimum of 5 years in trust and safety leadership within a consumer-facing tech company. Experience in online gaming, social media, or community-focused platforms is a plus. The role demands a strong understanding of content moderation practices, digital safety frameworks, and policy development. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading high-performing teams, excellent communication skills, and a passion for VR, online communities, and fostering safe digital spaces. The VP, Trust & Safety will also be expected to stay informed of industry trends and regulatory developments in online safety to ensure the company remains at the forefront of digital trust and safety.
