About the Role

We're a contract metal stamping shop looking for someone to own the supply side of our fulfillment process. If you're the kind of person who can disconnect price from cost, isn't afraid of a spreadsheet or a hard supplier conversation, and wants to be a key member of

our team, this is the role for you.

You'll be the link between suppliers, quality, finance, operations, sales, and engineering — making sure the right materials show up at the right time, at the right cost, without drama.

What You'll Own

Purchasing & Supplier Management

• Serve as the Company's authorized purchasing agent — RFQs, POs, assist in supplier negotiations
• Own our AS9100D purchasing procedure and resolve supplier/quality/finance non-conformances
• Support 3rd party processing supplier relationships
• Manage current open purchase order report
• Provide sales and customer service with current market pricing on commodities/materials

Inventory & Demand Planning

• Monitor inventory against sales orders and internal demand
• Collaborate with Customer Service and Production Planning to manage internal and supplier inventory levels
• Communicate demand shifts to suppliers to protect capacity without over-committing resources
• Run weekly inventory reviews

Logistics & Continuous Improvement

• Analyze supply chain data to cut cost and improve performance (3rd party suppliers, pull/consignment systems, forecast methods, carrier/mode changes)
• Set freight terms with carriers to manage cost and  hit on-time delivery
• Handle commercial invoicing for international purchases

• Inventory turnover improvement
• On-time delivery of sourced material, supplies, and services
• Inventory accuracy via cycle counts

What You Bring

• 3-5+ years in planning, procurement, supply chain, or operations in a manufacturing environment
• Hands-on Lean experience (Kaizen, 5S, Value Stream Mapping)
• Strong ERP and Microsoft-stack skills
• Sharp negotiation skills and business judgment — you know the difference between price and cost
• Data-driven, self-directed, and comfortable owning outcomes without hand-holding
• Grit and versatility — you find a way to get it done when the textbook answer doesn't apply
• Ability to zoom out and think strategically without losing the thread on daily transactional work
• Excellent written and verbal communication

AS9100 / aerospace supply chain experience a plus, not a requirement.
