Operations Associate

You will be expected to be a true generalist, overseeing small and large electrical projects from start to finish. This role has immense opportunities for growth as you will be exposed to different aspects of our business while working closely with senior team members. We are looking for talented candidates who are eager to learn, execute, and grow. Electrical knowledge is not required to be considered for the position. We will provide you with plenty of training and support to ensure that you are well-positioned for success. However, successful candidates will likely have strong analytical and communication skills with demonstrated track records of being able to learn, adapt, and thrive in fast-paced, new environments. This role is in-office, five days a week. We do not offer remote or hybrid options for operations team members. What You’ll Do As an Electrical Operations Associate, you will work on a variety of tasks to ensure first-rate service delivery to our clients. We strive for utmost professionalism and precision in everything we do, from project intake, to pricing, field management, and final client review; you are expected to do the same. Our company is growing and every day is different depending on business needs and ongoing projects. On any given day, you may find yourself working on any of the following: Lead field operations in Los Angeles and Orange County Work with Pros (our electrical contractors) on the ground Conduct onsite assessments and intake for prospective clients Use proprietary software, tools, and data to process inbound requests Provide excellent customer service via calls, text, email Build models and SOPs for projects and processes Learn and research equipment specs, local requirements, and national electric codes Accompany senior personnel into the field for sales calls, events, or projects Work with Product and Engineering to test and implement internal software features Assist with permit submission to local building offices and coordinate inspections Tasks not on this list Who You Are We are looking for bright, curious, and ambitious people eager to get in on the ground floor of a growing company. Ideally, you are no stranger to fast-paced, roll-up-your-sleeve work environments. And while you may not be an Excel master or come from a quantitative background, you have an analytical mind and are comfortable with complexity and nuance. Above all, you have a stellar work ethic and take pride in your contributions, putting in the time and effort to get things done on time and done well. Please note that final round interviews will involve completing in-person case-studies. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree with strong academic records Preferred: Bachelor’s in Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or Construction Proven analytical skills either from your studies or professional experience Strong communication, writing, and interpersonal abilities Three or more years of full-time professional experience Daily lunches included while working in-office or in the field Monthly HSA contribution on the house Standard 2 week vacation per year Salary range for this position is $75,000 - $95,000 annually to start. The role is based in El Monte, CA, five days a week. Though you will likely be dispatched to different project sites across Southern California.
