Position Overview Altius Dental is seeking a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our team in Sherman, TX . This is a full-time, on-site opportunity for a motivated, patient-focused hygienist who is passionate about preventive care and patient education. The RDH will provide comprehensive preventive dental services while creating a welcoming and comfortable experience for patients. This role includes collaborating closely with providers to support treatment planning and deliver high-quality patient care. Compensation & Bonus Competitive Pay: $42.00 – $48.00 per hour (based on experience and qualifications) Sign-On Bonus: $500 bonus after successful completion of 60 days of employment Key Responsibilities Perform dental prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, scaling, and root planing Review patient medical and dental histories Conduct oral health assessments and document findings accurately Take and interpret dental radiographs Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care Identify and manage signs of periodontal disease Collaborate with dentists on treatment planning Maintain strict infection control and sterilization standards Support an efficient, organized, and patient-centered clinical environment Qualifications Active Texas Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in good standing Current CPR/BLS certification Strong clinical knowledge in preventive dentistry and periodontal care Experience with routine cleanings, scaling, root planing, and oral health education Knowledge of infection control protocols, radiography, and dental charting software Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-based environment Experience working with underserved or rural communities is preferred, but not required Join a growing organization that values exceptional patient care, teamwork, and making a lasting impact in Texas communities.
