Job Overview TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a travel job in Glenville, West Virginia. Specialty: Speech Language Pathologist Discipline: Therapy Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Responsibilities As an SLP, you will be responsible for assisting patients with speech, voice, or swallowing impairments and evaluating and developing a plan of care for a variety of patient populations in an acute care setting. Diagnose, treat, and prevent speech, language, and swallowing disorders. Create treatment and therapy plans for a diverse population of patients. Perform screenings to detect voice or speech disorders. Educate patients and family members about speech disorders and causes, including disabilities and traumatic events. Report progress and current status to appropriate parties such as family members, teachers, or medical professionals. Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines. Qualifications Must have at least 6 months of experience; new graduates are encouraged to apply. Experienced candidates requiring 1 year of experience may be considered for exceptional backgrounds. Required credentials: BLS and ASHA‑SLP National Certification with state‑specific licensing. SLPs must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, bend, lean or stoop without difficulty, and possess a sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
