Position Summary: Mechanical Design Engineer

Location: Hampton, NH

Amphenol Ardent Concepts is a leading designer and manufacturer of high performance multicoax and coaxial assemblies, connectors, and sockets used in the development of next generation semiconductors and electronics systems. We are currently seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. The position is located in Hampton, NH.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collect design requirements in conjunction with Sales team.
• Work with customer to arrive at an approved socket or connector design.
• Provide technical support to Sales and Applications Engineering
• Generate detailed drawings for machine shops.
• Assist Production with troubleshooting assembly.
• Gather test data to support R&D activities.
• Select relevant seed design or start a design from scratch that satisfies the requirements.
• Support Production with fixture designs as needed.
• Identify process deficiencies and develop solutions to improve those deficiencies

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum education requirement of Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Proficient in SolidWorks
• Ability to read, interpret, and create a variety of types of mechanical prints and drawings
• Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing
• Strong Mechanical Aptitude
• Effective written and verbal communication
• Attention to detail
• Self-motivated and able to prioritize tasks
• Able to work independently
• Drive and passion to become a primary contributor to the company's overall success
• 3-5 years of experience preferred
