Job Tittle: Pharmacist, Dispensing

Location: West Chester Twp, OH

Duration: 12+ Months

Shift Timing: 2nd shift - 5:30pm -2am Sunday - Thursday

Pay Range: $62.00 - $67.00

Job Description:

·       2nd shift - 5:30pm -2am Sunday - Thursday The Dispensing Pharmacist registered Pharmacist who is responsible for the accurate and timely dispensing of prescribed medication to patients.

·       The Dispensing Pharmacist work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.

·       The Dispensing Pharmacist ensures adherence to quality assurance standards, accurate tracking techniques and a review process prior to shipping medications to patients.

·       Understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas.

·       Makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed. Follows established guidelines/procedures.

Required Qualifications:

·       Bachelors of Pharmacy or PharmD degree from an accredited college of pharmacy

·       Licensed as a PHARMACIST in state(s) of practice

·       Ability to participate in Federal prescription programs

·       Self-directed, but also able to work well in a group

·       Ability to solve problems and encourage others in collaborative problem solving

·       Work ethic that is focused, accurate, and highly productive

·       Excellent communication skills

·       Proficient with computers

·       Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Preferred Qualifications:

·       3 or more years experience in a high volume community or mail order pharmacy practice environment
