Overview Are you interested in providing support to families and youth in need of mental health services? Devereux is hiring a Therapist to join our team. Devereux’s Foster Care Programs provide therapeutic, family-based care for children and adolescents who have experienced trauma or instability in their home environments. The program partners with the Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF) and local lead agencies to recruit, train, and support therapeutic foster parents who can meet the complex needs of youth requiring more than traditional foster care. Clinicians work closely with children, caregivers, and support systems to create individualized treatment plans, provide counseling, and build life and coping skills. Responsibilities Provide therapy to children and adolescents in foster homes, schools, and community settings. Assess clients and develop individualized treatment plans. Consult with and train foster parents on therapeutic interventions and behavioral programs. Provide on-call telephone support for the program’s foster homes on a rotating basis. Position Details Pay Range: starts at $51,000/year (based on relevant education, licensure, and experience). Schedule: Full-Time; community-based position that works around families’ schedules. Qualifications Master\'s degree in counseling, social work, or psychology field required. 2+ years experience working with children or families in need of mental health, behavioral health, crisis intervention, or related required. Other Requirements Valid FL State Issued Driver\'s license. Successfully pass pre-employment medical screenings which include drug screen and TB test. Successfully pass a Level 2 background screening with the State of Florida.
