$43.0 - $50.0/hourly Posted 1 day ago Less than 10 applies 2 min average apply Columbia, SC 29223 School Based Part-Time Occupational Therapist (OT) Compensation Range: $43-50/hour Location Columbia, SC; Onsite – School Setting RCM is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist for a full-time assignment working with our client in Columbia, South Carolina! Job Responsibilities/Requirements Part-time Occupational Therapistforthe 26-27 school year. Please consider that this OT would be the onlyOT for the school community caseload and should be comfortable working independently. Develop Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals and objectives in collaboration with the IEP team. Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services as outlined in students' IEPs. Develop Response to Intervention (RTI) plans and provide services as outlined in plans. Support students in developing fine motor skills, sensory regulation, visual-motor integration, self-care, and organizational skills. Adapt and modify the learning environment and educational materials to support student access and participation. Provide training, resources, and consultation to teachers, paraprofessionals, and families. Maintain accurate documentation including evaluation reports, progress notes, service logs, and Medicaid billing records (if applicable). Participate in IEP meetings, student support teams, and other collaborative planning efforts. Comply with federal, state, and local regulations regarding special education and therapy services. Stay current with best practices, continuing education, and professional licensure requirements. Perform all other duties as assigned by the Superintendent or Designee. Schedule / Shift Shift details: School Day Schedule Hours per week: 8 hours per week Contract length: School Year Required Qualifications Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in South Carolina. Experience working with children in educational settings is preferred. Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
