Position Overview

The BCBA assesses client needs, develops individualized treatment plans, and oversees the delivery of ABA services in accordance with applicable Pennsylvania IBHS regulations and ALFS clinical standards.

In this role, you will partner with families, Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), and interdisciplinary providers to support measurable progress and help clients apply skills across settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and use findings to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Design, implement, and monitor Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) aligned with client needs and goals.
• Provide clinical supervision, coaching, and feedback to Behavior Technicians and RBTs in accordance with applicable BACB and Pennsylvania IBHS requirements.
• Provide parent and caregiver training to support consistent strategies and skill development across environments.
• Review data, analyze progress, and adjust treatment strategies based on clinical findings.
• Maintain timely, accurate assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and other required clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with families, schools, and multidisciplinary providers to coordinate care.
• Follow applicable Pennsylvania IBHS regulations, Department of Human Services requirements, professional standards, and ALFS policies.

Required Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
• Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
• Current Pennsylvania Licensed Behavior Specialist (LBS) license or eligibility to obtain licensure.
• Experience conducting FBAs and developing BIPs.
• Completion of applicable BACB requirements to provide RBT supervision.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to clinical documentation.

Additional Requirements

• Ability to obtain and maintain required clearances, including:
  • Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Background Check (EPATCH).
  • FBI Fingerprinting Background Check (IdentoGO).
  • Pennsylvania Child Abuse Clearance.
• Current CPR/AED and First Aid certification.
• Reliable transportation for travel between service locations, as applicable.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience providing Early Intervention (EI) and/or IBHS services.
• Experience delivering services in home, school, and clinic settings.
• Familiarity with electronic clinical documentation and data collection systems, such as Rethink.
