The client is a smart, friendly 18-year-old young man diagnosed with autism. The young man lives at home with his parents, and is supported by a team of ABA professionals and highly trained caregivers in the home and community. The ideal candidate is a compassionate and dedicated professional with at least 2 years of experience working with individuals diagnosed with autism or other developmental disabilities. Candidates with a BCAT, or ABAT certification will be considered, and those with weekend availability will receive first consideration.**Duties:*** Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).* Collect and record data on client progress and behavior changes accurately and consistently.* Assist client with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) to promote independence and improve quality of life.* Provide support in teaching social skills and self-management strategies.* Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance skills in behavioral therapy and special education practices.* Support clients in various settings, including home and community environments.**Benefits:*** Opportunities for professional development* Paid sick time* Health insurance available for full time employees* A shift differential is available for weekend shifts* Job Types: Full-time, Part-time**Benefits:*** 401(k)* Dental insurance (full-time)* Health insurance (full-time)* Professional development assistanceWork Location: In-person in Redwood City## Qualifications**Requirements:*** Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT).* At least 2 years experience working with children or individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities.* Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques and principles.* Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members.* Ability to demonstrate patience, empathy, and understanding when working with individuals on the autism spectrum or those requiring behavioral management support.* Familiarity with Self-Determination Programs is highly preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr
