A TYPICAL DAY MIGHT INCLUDE Designing specific system components for the overall design effort. Performing design calculations, preparing equipment or material specifications, and providing direction to technical support or drafting personnel. Investigating a limited number of variables; supervisory assistance is provided on unusual problems and possible solutions. Determining additional information that is needed from internal clients and coordinating them directly with LJA. Making basic decisions regarding alternative procedures when information is not given. Applying prescribed methods to complete limited and specific portions of the broader assignment of an experienced engineer. Adjusting and correlating data. Recognizing discrepancies in results and following operations through a series of related detailed steps or processes. May exercise limited judgment in making preliminary method selections and adopting alternatives. REQUIRED EDUCATION/LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS Bachelor of Science, in Civil Engineering is required. EIT License required. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 2 years of experience in Land Development. Strong communication skills. Ability to build strong relationships.
