Homeland Talent Solutions has partnered with a leading technology organization to identify a Senior Software Engineer who will help design and build next-generation software solutions utilizing modern cloud technologies, scalable enterprise architecture, and AI-enabled development practices. This Senior Software Engineer opportunity is focused on hands-on software engineering and product development rather than data science or machine learning. The ideal candidate is a strong software engineer with experience building enterprise applications and a passion for leveraging emerging technologies to improve software quality, engineering efficiency, and product innovation. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop scalable cloud-based solutions, support platform modernization initiatives, and help drive the adoption of AI‑assisted engineering tools and workflows that enhance the software development lifecycle and deliver meaningful business impact. Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable enterprise software applications and services Build cloud‑native solutions, APIs, and distributed systems that support large‑scale customer environments Develop modern full‑stack applications using current software engineering best practices Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Architecture, and Data Science teams to deliver innovative technology solutions Participate in architecture discussions, technical design reviews, and solution planning activities Leverage AI‑assisted development tools and emerging technologies to improve engineering efficiency and software quality Support automation initiatives, workflow optimization efforts, and AI‑enabled product capabilities Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve complex technical issues across applications and platforms Contribute to engineering standards, development best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives Stay current on industry trends, technologies, and software development methodologies to support ongoing innovation Requirements 4+ years of software engineering experience Experience building and supporting enterprise SaaS applications Experience designing, developing, and maintaining APIs and backend services Strong object‑oriented programming and software design skills Experience working with cloud‑native architectures and modern application frameworks Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving abilities Excellent communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills Experience utilizing AI tools to improve software development workflows, preferred Experience integrating AI‑powered capabilities into software applications, preferred Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, preferred Experience with DevOps methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and automation practices, preferred Exposure to distributed systems and microservices architectures, preferred Experience working in Agile software development environments, preferred This role offers a competitive annual salary of $110,000 – $136,800, opportunities for annual bonuses, as well as a comprehensive benefits package.
