Registered Nurse - Cardiac Telemetry Unit

Location: Richmond, VA

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, with every third Friday and Saturday required, as well as additional holidays.

Job Description: The Cardiac Telemetry Unit is a fast-paced environment focused on providing high-quality care for patients with cardiac issues. The unit comprises 25 beds and is staffed with dedicated healthcare professionals dedicated to patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor patients' vital signs and cardiac rhythms.
• Administer medications and treatments following physician orders.
• Perform EKGs and assist with patient care procedures.
• Respond to changes in patients' conditions and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current RN License.
• Must have telemetry experience and be proficient in reading EKGs.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
