Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Nurse

This is a 13-week contract position.

Shifts are 4 days a week, 10 hours each, from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM or 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

The Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Nurse will be responsible for both scrubbing and circulating during CVOR procedures. This role requires expertise in providing safe and effective care in the operating room, ensuring all protocols and practices are followed for optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain the sterile field during surgical procedures.
• Administer care preoperatively, intraoperatively, and postoperatively to cardiovascular patients.
• Collaborate with surgeons and other medical staff to ensure a successful surgical outcome.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and respond promptly to any changes in condition.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• Experience in CVOR settings is mandatory.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.

On Call Requirements:

Must be available for one weekend (Friday to Sunday) on-call shift per month and a minimum of one weekday on-call shift per week.
