Support Lead Part Time

RESPONSIBILITIES Ensures all crew members are wowing the customer through personal contact. Trains the crew on the B.E.S.T. customer service experience to provide fast, friendly check‑out. Oversees daily activities of all store associates, ensuring effective performance and excellent customer service. Assists with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock for quick placement on the sales floor. Acts as Manager on Duty when needed, taking full responsibility for store operations, staff management, customer service, and urgent issues. Manages opening and closing of the store, including securing cash, locking doors, setting alarms, and preparing the store for daily operation. Supports onboarding and ongoing training of associates to improve performance. Drives store sales and controls expenses by seeking ways to boost sales through merchandising, staff performance, and customer service. Partners with the entire store leadership team in merchandising procedures and world recovery. Performs store maintenance, such as trash removal, sweeping, cleaning bathrooms, and maintaining the stock room. QUALIFICATIONS High school graduate or equivalent. College experience preferred. Minimum 1 year of management experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to multi‑task. Creative thinking. Ability to maintain composure under pressure. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Frequently operate cash register. Frequent movement of merchandise weighing up to 25 lbs, placing and removing up to 5‑10 feet high. Use of ladders to retrieve and put away stock. Positioning to kneel, bend, twist, and stoop in stock and sales areas. Regular communication with customers via telephone and face‑to‑face in-store. Assist customers across the sales floor and from the stock room. Work flexible schedule: day, evening, weekends, potential overnight shifts, and travel as required. Identify and follow email and print instructions for merchandise layouts, schedules, and procedures. Remain in stationary, upright position for 80% of time.
