Pool Manager

Position Overview Pool Manager position will report to General Manager. Pool Manager will assist in the hiring, scheduling, and evaluation of all pool staff employees (including Food and Beverage Operation). This position will also serve as the primary liaison with our pool management company and will assist in any compliance requests, recommendations, member relations, and developing possible covid-related guidelines. In preparation for Pool season, the Pool Manager will help establish checklists and procedures necessary for our successful opening date. The Pool Manager will also assist in oversight of the pool application process for members, evaluate pool membership eligibility, and coordinate communication instructions for all pool patrons. The Pool Manager is required to be visible for Members and Guests during peak operating times and is responsible for scheduling the appropriate staffing levels to meet budget demands and customer service expectations. Responsibilities Evaluating, hiring, and oversight of Pool Staff Members Analyzing and implementing all possible Covid-related guidelines Work closely with Food and Beverage Director on Food and Beverage Operations and help manage Food and Beverage employees working within the pool area Train and oversee staff operations in regards to proper check-in procedures (will require computer skills) Lead team during needed disciplinary actions involving staff, members, or guests Develop weekly/monthly pool reports that include attendance, issues, and any other necessary information Create holiday-themed events and parties to work in accordance with pool operations Work closely with any contract related work such as necessary pool repairs Develop and implement necessary procedures for Staff to help create consistent member service Assist with response of e-mail and phone messages from Members Create monthly surveys to send out to Pool Members Develop a social calendar for Member events Other projects deemed necessary for Pool Operations Additional Compensation and Benefits Minimal tips are allowed. Hourly staff will have priority. In the event you are the only person on staff, you may participate in the tip share. Must be appropriately staffed. Shirts Provided. Meals will be provided while on duty. Employment Process & Restrictions Staff applicants must be sent for approval to the General Manager before employment is offered. Employment as pool manager does not allow you to be present at the pool during off time and for recreational purposes. End Date Conclusion of pool season and winterization of the pool has been completed. The end date is negotiable for school or other needed post seasonal start dates for the pool manager.
