LocumJobsOnline is working with Adelphi Locums to find a qualified Radiation Oncology MD in Grand Forks, North Dakota, 58201!JOB OVERVIEW • Job Title: Physician – Radiation Oncology• Job Type: Locum Tenens• Location: Grand Forks, ND• Primary Worksite: Altru Cancer Center• Service Setting: Outpatient Clinic• Coverage Type: Clinical Only• Clinical Shift Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM• Call: Not Required• Rate: TBDCOVERAGE DATES• May: 18, 25• June: 1, 15, 22, 28• Ongoing: Beginning August (excluding September 14–25)• Expectation: Ability to provide 2 weeks/month consistentlyPATIENT INFORMATION• Patient Volume: 18–24 patients per day• Case Mix: Radiation oncology treatments and management• Call Volume: NoneFACILITY INFORMATION• EMR System: Epic (transitioning systems in Sept 2026)• Equipment:- Accuray platform (Tomotherapy & Radixact)- Transition to Varian LINAC (Sept 2026)- Current system: Mosaic → transitioning to Aria• Support Staff:- Physicists (2)- Dosimetrists (2)- Radiation Therapists (4)- Radiation Oncology APP (1)- Nurse (1)- Patient Access (1)• Reason for Coverage: Physician vacation and leave of absencePRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE• Board Certification: Required – Radiation Oncology• Licensure: North Dakota license required (IMLC accepted if transferable DEA)• Minimum Experience: 2 yearsREQUIRED PROCEDURES• External beam radiation therapy• Treatment planning and delivery oversight• Image-guided radiation therapy (IGRT)• Use of Tomotherapy/Radixact systems (preferred experience)DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES• Provide radiation oncology clinical services in outpatient setting• Evaluate, plan, and manage radiation therapy treatments• Collaborate with physicists, dosimetrists, and oncology team• Oversee treatment delivery and ensure quality/safety standards• Document care in EMR and coordinate multidisciplinary oncology care
