Registered Nurse – Ortho Trauma

Schedule - Shift: Nights, 3x12-hour

Requirements - Experience required in ortho trauma and total joint replacement - State or Compact RN license in hand at time of submittal - BLS certification required; ACLS and NIHSS preferred - 2 years of RN experience preferred - Trauma Level I/II experience preferred - Charting experience with Epic

Roles & Responsibilities - Provide nursing care to patients with ortho trauma and those undergoing total joint replacement surgery. - Manage post-operative care, including wound care and wound VAC application. - Administer medications, including IV/PICC/central line management and blood product administration. - Monitor telemetry and assist with respiratory support such as BiPAP/CPAP and high-flow nasal cannula. - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physical therapy and social services.

Compliance / Notes - Must include any requested time off at the time of submittal. - Previous staff must wait one year before returning as a traveler. - Orientation modules will be completed onsite and are non-billable. - Specific residency exclusions apply.
