Position Overview Prysmian is seeking an individual who is looking to join the Maintenance Team. In this role, you will be working as a Machinist in our Machine Shop. Job Responsibilities Read blueprints and/or fabricate parts from samples Work effectively in a team environment Maintain a safe and organized workspace Operate manual machine shop equipment, including: Knee mills Lathes Surface grinders Saws Hoist Drill press Morrison key seater Forklift Job Requirements High school diploma or GED Ability to read, write, and communicate in English Basic computer skills Must provide own tools Ability to read and interpret blueprints Experience with lathes, mills, grinders, metalworking processes, and cutting tools Preferred: Minimum 5 years of experience in a machine shop environment Physical Requirements Repetitive movement Frequent walking throughout the facility Kneeling, crouching, and stooping Use of hands to operate tools, parts, and equipment Lifting up to 50 lbs. while bending, twisting, and standing Prysmian, as an Equal Opportunity Employer, aims to attract and recruit individuals with diverse backgrounds, skills, and abilities.
