TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Cath Lab RN in Charleston, West Virginia, 25309!

Job Title: Cath Lab RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 10H Days Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year in Cath Lab or Rad Tech environment License: Required Certifications: BLS and ACLS Must-Have: - Ability to scrub - Experience in a Cath Lab Description: The role involves working within the Cath Lab. Candidates must have scrubbing experience. The unit operates with 2 suites/labs. On average, there are 10 cases per day. Key responsibilities include assisting the physician and maintaining sterile technique. RNs will circulate, sedate patients, and complete necessary documentation. Patients will include those undergoing diagnostic left and right heart catheterizations, PCI, IABP, Impella, temporary pacemaker, TCAR, EVAR, EKOS, AIF, and IVC filters. Experience with EKOS is preferred, but training will be provided. The facility uses Siemens software and equipment for documentation. RNs will work in a schedule that includes up to 7 days of call per week. Call response time is 30 minutes. Shifts may vary based on patient case schedules. Weekend call and holiday call are rotational. Surgical attire will be provided for scrubbing duties. There are opportunities for extra hours in other units if desired. No floating to other departments is required.
