Respiratory Therapist

Position Information

Role: Respiratory Therapist
Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours
Weekend Hours: Required every other weekend
Call Requirements: None
Float Requirements: None

Qualifications

Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, RRT - NRP preferred
Required Education: State Respiratory License
Years of Experience: Minimum of 5 years

Unit Information

Equipment: Airvo, KNV 550 and 330, V60
EHR: EPIC

Core Responsibilities

Provide respiratory therapy services independently, ensuring high-quality patient care.
Perform respiratory assessments and therapeutic interventions.
Manage ventilators and provide non-invasive ventilation (NIV) support.
Administer high-flow nasal cannula (HiFlow), hand-held nebulizers (HHN), oxygen therapy, and arterial blood gases (ABGs).

Desired Skills and Experience

Must Have Skills/Experience: Extensive experience as a Respiratory Therapist, including emergency situations.
Preferred Skillset: Experience in ventilator management and critical care.
Personality Fit: Team-oriented, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Dress Code

Typical dress code includes black scrubs.
