Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a reputable educational setting near Denver, CO. This contract opportunity offers both part-time and full-time schedules through the end of the school year, allowing you to contribute your expertise where it counts most. You'll work onsite in an itinerant capacity, supporting students across multiple sites and collaborating with dedicated educational professionals.
Key Qualifications:
- Bilingual Spanish proficiency required to best serve a diverse student population
- Valid Colorado Department of Education (CDE) license must be active before start date
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) preferred
- Previous experience in school-based settings highly valued
- Willingness to mentor Clinical Fellows (CFs) encouraged
- Reliable transportation for travel between school sites
Your Role Will Include:
- Providing direct speech and language therapy to students with varied needs
- Completing assessments, developing individualized education plans (IEPs), and maintaining accurate records
- Collaborating with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary teams to maximize student outcomes
- Addressing communication disorders through evidence-based interventions and strategies
- Participating in staff meetings, parent conferences, and professional development as needed
