Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

Active Delaware OT license required
Previous experience in a school-based setting is highly valued, though all backgrounds will be considered
Strong communication skills to collaborate with students, staff, and families
Ability to design and implement individualized intervention plans
Committed to fostering student independence and classroom participation

Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments and create personalized treatment plans for students with diverse needs
Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services within the school environment
Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and family members to support student progress
Maintain thorough and compliant documentation of student progress and services provided
Participate in IEP meetings to share insights and recommendations
Adapt strategies to best serve each student, ensuring equitable access to educational opportunities
