Technical WriterOur client located in Vestal, NY is in need of technical writers for Mechanical subject matter. This is a Hybrid position with a majority of the work done remotely! Position is long term as company intends to hire on! Pay is $18-$20/hr based on experience Hybrid Schedule Hours 8a-5p M-FIdeal Applicant:High mechanical aptitudeAbility to interpret engineering drawingsGood typing/computer skillsWord/Excel/Access Experience a plus!Job DescriptionDuties may include any of the following aspects of technical documentation development.Developing maintenance (repair, replacement) procedures from engineering drawings, photos, videos, subject matter expert interviews, etc.Working with graphic illustrators in support of the publication effort.Working with desktop publishers in support of the publication effort.Participation in project, department and/or customer program meetings and reviewQualificationsSuperior written and verbal communicationExperience in a Technical Field with working knowledge of technical documentation, including manuals and training materials.Availability of Secure internet connection at homeAbility to work within a defined scope and meet deadlinesAbility to interpret engineering drawings and schematicsSkilled in word, excel, & AccessWillingness to Travel as needed is required!!!Veteran/Military background is a plusExpress Employment Professionals is an Equal Opportunity Employer and Drug Free Workplace.
