About You + The Role

Our task is to read things that are not yet on the page.

As a Staff Technical Product Manager, you'll be titrating input from a variety of stakeholders into requirements for the next products we'll be shipping - and ultimately be responsible for the successful end-to end delivery of those products.

TL;DR: you'll be the decision maker for what we'll be building next in your lane of the product.

In practice, this breaks down to 4 main activities:

1. Collecting, and responding to, input from internal and external stakeholders.
2. Deciding on what to work on next, and communicating that to the team through PODs, PRDs, and an iterated roadmap.
3. Executing what we decided to work on from 0 to 1, and seeing things through to successful customer rollout and ongoing monitoring.
4. Making sure everyone is a product expert - you'll be responsible that everyone internal and external to Metriport understands how the product works and how it can bring them value in depth.

Requirements

• Co-located in Bay Area, or willing to relocate.
• Early stage B2B startup experience - at least one company between Seed to Series B that had live customers for at least 2 years where you were responsible for making product bets & shot calling.
• 10+ years of experience as a (Technical) Product Manager for deeply technical infrastructure / analytics products.
• Experience going from ideation to User/Factory Acceptance Testing and successful delivery of new products/features while communicating with enterprise customer stakeholders.
• Bonus points:
  
  • Thorough understanding of healthcare data, including but not limited to:
    
    • Standards: HL7v2, FHIR, CDA, DICOM, LOINC, ICD-10, etc
    • Business: Payers, Providers, ACOs, MSOs, etc
    • Health information exchange: IHE, TEFCA, IAS, etc

Bonus Points

• Domain: Experience in the Healthcare IT or Healthtech space.
• Engineering Experience: Direct contribution to APIs
• AI Products: Experience building AI-driven products.
