Our products support public safety, utilities, energy, construction, government, and field-service teams that need reliable connectivity outside normal infrastructure.

We are hiring our first dedicated Fleet & Field Sales Executive to open the B2B fleet channel.

The timing is unusually strong. At recent industry events, it has been clear how many fleet and field operators are still trying to understand how Starlink fits into their vehicles, agencies, job sites, and mobile crews. The interest is real, the category is early, and many buyers still need someone credible to show them what a complete deployment can look like.

Veritas has the solutions now. We need a hungry, self-starting sales executive who can put that message in front of the right buyers and turn an underutilized market into repeatable fleet wins.

This is a California-based hybrid role. Most of the role can be done remotely. The strongest fit is someone based in the Central Coast or Central Valley who can get to the San Luis Obispo office about once a month or once every two months, plus travel for targeted trade shows or qualified high-value opportunities.

Compensation

This role has a $70,000 base salary, a guaranteed $1,500/month minimum commission for the first six months, and uncapped performance-based commission.

Expected total compensation is approximately $107,500 in Year 1 at plan and $135,000 in Year 2 at plan. Strong performers who open meaningful fleet opportunities can exceed $175,000/year. Full commission-plan details are shared during the interview process.

The Role

You will sell complete Starlink deployment systems to public safety, fire, law enforcement, utilities, energy, construction, government fleets, and field-service organizations. You will own the deal from first contact through quote, purchase order, shipment, and reorder.

This is not a passive account-management role. It is a full-cycle outbound role for someone who can educate an early market, originate pipeline from cold, and turn fleet operators into long-term Veritas customers.

Most of your time will be outbound prospecting by email, phone, and LinkedIn. You will also work targeted trade shows from pre-show outreach through booth conversations and follow-up. You will help Veritas build the repeatable sales motion for a market that is still waking up to what is possible.

What You Will Do

- Build outbound pipeline into public safety, utility, energy, construction, government, and field-service fleets

- Teach buyers that Starlink-on-the-move is possible and show them the complete Veritas system

- Quote complete fleet kits rather than disconnected parts

- Run trade-show outreach, booth work, and follow-up

- Help advance procurement access for public-sector and fleet buyers

- Keep clean CRM records and run disciplined deal-stage reviews

- Build new-customer wins that can turn into repeat orders

Who We Are Looking For

You are a full-cycle outbound seller who can prove you have originated real deals from cold.

You may come from connectivity, telematics, public safety communications, fleet hardware, field-service technology, vehicle upfitting, government sales, or a related B2B category. Strong target backgrounds include reps who have sold around Cradlepoint or Ericsson Enterprise, Peplink, FirstNet, Verizon Frontline, Motorola Solutions, Samsara, Geotab, fleet upfitters, or similar channels.

The right person is hungry, self-directing, precise about their own pipeline, and comfortable selling into an undereducated category where the buyer often does not yet know the solution exists. You should bring enough industry fluency to understand fleet, field, public-sector, emergency-response, utility, construction, or operational buyers quickly and credibly.

Must Haves

- Proven outbound B2B sales experience

- Clear examples of deals you originated from cold

- Comfort selling into fleets, field operations, government, public safety, utilities, energy, construction, or similar operational buyers

- Ability to own the full cycle from prospecting to quote to purchase order

- CRM discipline

- Ability to travel for targeted trade shows and qualified high-value opportunities

- Strong written and verbal communication

- Comfort teaching a technical product without hiding behind jargon

Additional Details

Veritas does not currently offer a traditional benefits package for this role. The compensation package is built around the $70,000 base salary, first-six-month commission protection, and uncapped performance-based commission.
