HVAC Technician (Temporary)

Responsibilities Diagnosis of HVAC equipment failures. Perform all HVAC equipment preventative maintenance. Repair HVAC equipment, including boilers, air handlers, DX systems, chillers, and other HVAC and refrigeration systems. Install HVAC and building automation systems and equipment. Install ductwork, low voltage controls, gas piping, and ventilation systems. Handle rough‑in and final trim of new systems. Perform building automation preventative maintenance. Respond to and investigate complaints of malfunctioning building comfort control equipment. Monitor building efficiencies, including indoor air quality and energy use. Respond to after‑hours or emergency calls outside of regular business hours. Perform other related duties as assigned or requested. Minimum Qualifications A high school diploma or GED equivalent. Three (3) years of professional journey‑level HVAC experience. A combination of education and experience may be considered. Certifications, Licenses, & Registrations Must possess a valid Colorado Driver’s License upon hire, with complying insurance, and undergo a motor vehicle record review at hire and periodically throughout employment. Position requires the successful completion of a criminal background check, including fingerprinting through a national database. Must possess a Federal Universal Refrigeration License issued by the State of Colorado.
