We are seeking a  Storage Inspector for post-harvest crop storage units. This is a Full-time position. 

This role includes inspection of crops within the storage facility, documenting information about the health of the crop, the operation of the ventilation and humidification equipment, and the overall storage status. This position will also be responsible for making corrective recommendations to Agri-Stor staff based on storage inspections.

We are willing to train the right person for this role, however, applicants with an agriculture background or education in crop science or potato physiology will be prioritized.  If you like working independently yet appreciate the security and support of a multi-million-dollar family organization, you'll love working here.   Applicants with a crop science or potato physiology background may negotiate for a higher wage.

To become a member of our skilled team, you should be reliable and dependable, able to work independently within a team environment, give excellent customer service, and be proud of the work that you do. We prefer good writing and math skills. You will need to have a valid driver's license and a good driving record. The job requires working in many different climates; driving in winter conditions, walking in wet and slippery conditions, bending, stooping, reaching, and occasionally lifting 50 pounds. Some Saturdays and occasional overtime are required as we respond to the busy harvest season.

Our insurance company requires a Satisfactory/clean driving record, since you're operating our company vehicles. We also require/conduct a Drug test and Background check.
