Litigation Attorney

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Litigation Attorney to join our team in Las Vegas. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil litigation and a proven track record of success in handling complex legal cases. The Litigation Attorney will be responsible for managing a caseload of litigation matters, representing clients in court, and providing legal advice and guidance to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- - Manage a caseload of litigation matters, including drafting pleadings, conducting legal research, and representing clients in court.
- - Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in the litigation process.
- - Conduct legal research and analysis to support legal proceedings and provide legal advice to clients.
- - Prepare and review legal documents, including briefs, motions, and contracts.
- - Attend and participate in depositions, hearings, and trials as needed.
- - Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff to develop case strategies and ensure the best possible outcome for clients.
- - Keep abreast of changes in laws and regulations that may impact ongoing cases.
- - Maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation.
Qualifications:
- - Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- - Active member of the Nevada State Bar.
- - Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in civil litigation.
- - Strong knowledge of civil litigation procedures and laws.
- - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- - Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- - Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- - Proficient in legal research and writing.
- - Experience with document management software and electronic filing systems.
