Travel Lpn (Licensed Practical Nurse)

Travel Lpn (Licensed Practical Nurse) for a 13-week assignment in a Long-Term Acute Care facility near Columbia, Missouri. The role involves delivering compassionate, high-quality care to medically complex patients while working 36 hours per week on a 3x12-hour shift schedule. You will earn up to $35 per hour and have the opportunity to work with a supportive team in a dynamic setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct patient care under the supervision of an RN or physician
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes promptly
• Assist with wound care, tracheostomy care, IV therapy (within scope), and other nursing procedures
• Accurately document patient assessments and interventions
• Collaborate with physicians, RNs, therapists, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and ongoing care
• Ensure compliance with facility policies, state regulations, and infection prevention standards

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing (LPN) program
• Active Missouri LPN License (or eligibility to obtain)
• Current BLS Certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills

Preferred Skills:

• ACLS certification preferred
• Previous LTAC, Skilled Nursing, Med/Surg, Rehabilitation, or Acute Care experience preferred
• Minimum of 1 year of recent LPN experience preferred
