MRI Technologist - Part Time (3 Days/Week) - Day Shift

Role Overview Seeking a Full-Time Charge MRI Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures, primarily MRI, on adult and pediatric patients. The role involves preparing patients and equipment, independently conducting studies, and overseeing shift operations, including workflow and assignments. The technologist serves as a clinical resource, mentors staff, and assumes supervisory responsibilities in their absence. Collaboration with radiologists and surgeons, problem-solving, and quality control are key duties. Qualifications & Skills Associate degree or Trade School equivalency Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography - R.T.(R) and/or MR ARMRIT or ARRT certification 2+ years of experience; preferred 5-10 years Licenses such as IEMA (excluding MRI), CPR, and additional certifications based on modality Leadership experience is advantageous Key Responsibilities Prepare patients and equipment for procedures Perform studies independently and in various settings Manage shift operations and troubleshoot technical issues Mentor staff and assist in training Act as a clinical liaison, communicate effectively, and maintain supplies This role offers a fast-paced environment with opportunities for professional growth, working with advanced technology and a multidisciplinary team.
