Registered Nurse Labor and Delivery

This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery. The nurse will be working in a unit that provides care during labor, delivery, and postpartum. Supervision of patients will involve a ratio of 1:2. Weekend requirements are two weekends every six weeks, which may include Fridays. Missed shifts can lead to cancellation of the assignment. Holiday time-off requests are limited to one, with the expectation that staff will likely work holidays. The facility maintains a strict dress code, including restrictions on tattoos, piercings, and hair color. Candidates must comply with hygiene and grooming standards as outlined by the facility. This position does not require on-call duties or floating to other departments.

Minimum 1 year required; first-timers accepted. Valid state license required. Certifications: BLS, AWHONN Advanced, NRP Advanced, Advanced Fetal Monitoring. Must-have: Vaginal Exam Ability/Experience. Baby Care Ability/Experience. Experience with fewer than 100 births to more than 300 births.
