Part-Time Retail Associate - 96th Street & Fishers

Job Overview Position: Retail Associate (Part‑time) Location: 9510 Corporation Dr., Indianapolis, IN 46256 Hourly Rate: $13 Responsibilities Cashier: Rings up customer orders, maintains a balanced drawer, follows cash handling procedures, provides general information about Goodwill programs, and maintains cleanliness of the sales floor. Textiles or Wares Producer: Sorts products for quality and value, properly labels and hangs textiles or wares, produces 100 wares or 85 textiles per hour, and uses pallet jack and conveyor belt as needed. Donation Door Attendant: Accepts donations, keeps the donation area clean, accurately sorts and distributes products, organizes the backroom, and operates heavy equipment such as pallet jack and floor scrubber. eCommerce Producer: Identifies and secures items for ClickGoodwill, determines market value using eBay and other sites, tags and packs items for shipment, and maintains the store budget for weekly tote shipping. e-Books Producer: Scans books, decides shipment versus display, prints inventory sheets, and prepares totes for ClickGoodwill while managing in‑store sales displays. Rack and Cart Runner: Checks racks and carts for quality, sizes and merchandises merchandise, purges the sales floor, stocks shelves, and runs one textile rack or wares cart every 15 minutes. Critical Thinking: Use judgment and reasoning to evaluate alternatives. Physical Requirements Spend more than 8 hours per shift sitting, standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, or crouching. Lift 10–50 pounds frequently. Operate heavy equipment such as pallet jack, double stacker, floor scrubber, and hydraulic lift. Endure moderate noise and temperature variations.
