Position Special Education Paraprofessional (JobID: 8290) Date Posted: 5/6/2026 Location: Harambee Community School (High‑Needs School) Responsibilities Provide program support to elementary‑age students who receive Special Education services at Harambee Elementary. Work 6 hours per day, starting June1,2026. Continue through June and July 2026 and the 2026‑2027 school year on a 9‑month calendar following a year‑round schedule in 2025‑26. Report to: Building Principal, Chris Streiff‑Oji. Required Qualifications 60 semester credits or 90 quarter credits from an institution of higher education OR a 2‑year associate degree (AA, AS, AAS or higher). Pass a MN ParaPro Test or ParaEducator Assessment; test is paid for at the employee's expense. Compensation Starting salary range: $17.95–$20.25 per hour, plus a district contribution toward insurance. Additional $2.00 per hour for completing online district Special Education training.
